Stan leads Collibra’s Data Office and is responsible for overall data strategy, data infrastructure, and translating internal learnings into value for our customers and partners. He is also Collibra’s product evangelist and drives future innovation.
Previously, Stan launched various departments within Collibra, including Product, Presales, Postsales, Partnerships, Marketplace, and Research and Education.
Prior to co-founding Collibra, Stan was a senior researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he focused on application-oriented research in semantics. He holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology, a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and a Postgraduate in Industrial Corporate Governance from Europese Hogeschool Brussel. Stan is a sought-after expert resource, industry speaker, and author on the topic of Data Intelligence.
Samuel Profumo
Chief Data Officer – RTBF
Samuel is Chief Data Officer of Radio Television Belge (RTBF), a public service broadcasting organization in Belgium. His role covers data governance, data strategy, and data protection.
Previously, Samuel worked for Groupe Figaro. Here, he started and led a 40 people multidisciplinary data team dedicated to leveraging data value by creating and implementing new data use cases for the three main activities of Groupe Figaro: publishing, sales, and advertising. Samuel holds a master’s degree in strategic management from the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
Frederic Lebeau
Co-Founder – Datavillage
Frederic, Co-Founder Datavillage, has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, e.g., BNP Paribas, Degroof Pertercam, as a cybersecurity expert, business architect, and IT innovation Director. He has a master’s in Computer Science and is passionate about unlocking the value of personal data, user control, privacy, and transparency in his work.
At Datavillage, Frederic is responsible for the technical conceptualization (architecture, security), the product’s design, and helping customers use Datavillage’s entire product and services potential.
Bart Vandekerckhove
Founder – Volta
Bart is one of the Co-Founders at Volta. It’s Volta’s mission to help customers protect their data without slowing it down. Volta does this by connecting the data engineer with their business counterpart to optimize their cloud-native access controls, and remediate the risks of misconfigurations through the smart Policy Recommender.
Before starting at Volta, Bart worked at Collibra, where he built out the Privacy offering. In his role, Bart engaged with data and privacy people across all sectors and industries, thereby getting a deep understanding of how organizations approach privacy and their efforts to embed privacy in their daily processes.
Bart is a firm believer that privacy and security are increasingly becoming a competitive differentiator. He wants to help organizations operationalize privacy & security, thereby gaining their customers’ trust.
